This 323 million dollar worth yacht was launched on the 3rd of January, 2008. The superyacht ‘A’ was built by Blohm + Voss shipyard at the HDW deepwater facility in Kiel, Germany. The luxurious motor yacht was designed by Philippe Starck and engineered by naval architect Martin Francis.

The Motor ‘A’ was named after its former owners’ first initials, Andrey Melnichenko, a Russian billionaire, and his wife Aleksandra. ‘A’ could comfortably accommodate 14 guests which include a one owner suite and six guest suite and house a 37 crew member on board.

Its stealth warship-like submarine design boasts a 400-feet long original design which has a length of 119 meter (390 ft. long) and weighs 5,959 tons. It has two unique, 11 meters long tenders, two (2) swimming pools and an interior resembling that of a Bond villain base and gained its name as the “most loved and loathed ship on the sea.”

The Emirate of Dubai or mostly known as ‘Dubai’ is owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai and prime minister of the UAE that cost in a whopping 400 million dollars which has a size of 162 m (531 ft.) long, a height of 9.26 m (30 ft 5 in), beam that measure up to 22 m (72 ft 2 in) and caters up to greater than, including the crew, 115 guests.

The motor yacht was originally made for Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei, a joint project by Blohm + Voss and Lurssen shipyards but was then halted on 2001 due to the hull being acquired by Platinum Yacht for Al Maktoum. Before it gained the title ‘Dubai’ it was previously named as Platinum, Panhandle and Golden Star.

3) Eclipse ($500 M)

This luxurious motor yacht was built by Blohm + Voss of Hamburg, Germany while the exterior and interior designed by Terence Disdale Design and the naval architect was Francis Design. The yacht costs up to 500 million dollars and is delivered to Roman Abramovich, a Russian business on December 9, 2010.

The private yacht measures to 162.5 m (533 ft.) long and seen to be shorter than Azzam. It features two helicopter pads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools. Several hot tubs, and a disco hall. To make living in this yacht comfortably it requires at least 70 crew members to give service.

Due to the status of the guest in the ship, the yacht was fitted with a missile defense system. Though it is known to be listed as a chartered yacht, the yacht is not available for actual charter.

2) Azzam ($600 M)

The Azzam motor yacht was built by Lurseen and currently owned by Sheikh Khal fa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates which sums up to 600 million dollars. The motor yacht was launched on April 5, 2013 with a staggering 180 m (590 ft) in length and 20.8 m (68 ft) beam and draft of 4.3 m (14 ft. 1 in.)
This private yacht features a main salon with 29 m length and 18 m beam with an open plan and no pillars. Aside from its built missile defense system and submarine, the yacht could still travel up to 32 knots. Its greatness was described as “the most complex and challenging yacht that has ever been built.”

(153 m) long which then recreates the beauty of the well-known city of Monaco which can be seen as a smaller replica.

The replication will include the famous places in Monaco such as Monte Carlo Casino, Hotel de Paris, Café de Paris, La Rascasse, the Loews Hotel with the inclusion of swimming pools and tennis courts.
